Stabbing on Landsdowne Ave


On February 14, 2017, at approximately 4:50 pm, members of the Sarnia Police Service General Patrol responded to a disturbance at a residence located at the south end of Lansdowne Avenue, in the City of Sarnia.

Upon arrival, officers observed that a window had been broken to the residence. From there officers continued their investigation and were able to determine that a 22 year old male had been stabbed in the stomach but was able to leave the area.

It was also determined that the 22 year old was stabbed by a 25 year old male who resided at the residence on Lansdowne Avenue that had the broken window. The assault arose regarding a dispute over ownership of certain articles of property.

The 22 year old victim was located and had been transported to the local hospital for medical care with non-life threatening injuries.

The 25 year old suspect, from Sarnia, remains in police custody and is awaiting his bail hearing.
