Drug Trafficker Arrested

On the 9th of August 2017, members of the Sarnia Police General Patrol and Criminal Investigations Division investigated the unfortunate sudden death of a middle aged male after he had consumed illicit drugs. The investigation led investigators to the identity of the person who sold the illicit drugs to the male victim.

On the 11th of August 2017, a Criminal Code search warrant was executed at the residence of the drug trafficker. The accused was taken into custody for trafficking a substance contrary to section 5 (1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act as well as possession of a controlled substance contrary to section 4 (1) of the Controlled Drug and Substances Act. The identity of the accused party is being withheld at this time as the investigation in ongoing.
