Peculiar But True

On September 2, 2017, at approximately 1:30 am, members of the Sarnia Police Service COPPS Unit were investigating a male party they had located in the area of George Street and Forsyth Street in the City of Sarnia for possible breaches of conditions related to his release.
As they dealt with this male a second male approached the officers wearing a house coat and jogging pants. The second male was acting all confused and appeared to be drooling. This male was enquiring about what was going on with his friend with whom the police were initially dealing with.
Shortly thereafter, the man wearing the house coat begins to walk away and in the process drops two clear large baggies containing drug paraphernalia. The suspect was then arrested and further to the arrest a search was conducted and several grams of methamphetamine were also located.
A 21 year old man from Sarnia was charged with possession of a controlled substance and subsequently released on a promise to appear.
