One of Three Offenders Still Outstanding From a Local Robbery


During the early morning hours of July 19, 2018, two males and a female attended a motel room in the 1600 block of London Road in an attempt to rob a 22 year old female and a 29 year old male that were known to them.

The three were able trick the male into opening the door at which point they forced entry into the room and the two male suspects began to strike the 29 year old male victim with a metal rod and an axe. During this violent encounter the male victim sustained life threatening injuries. The 22 year old female did not sustain any injuries during the invasion. The suspects left the room with some property that belonged to the victims.

The 29 year old male was transported to hospital where he was treated and has since recovered enough to have left the hospital’s care.

Since the incident members of the Sarnia Police Service Criminal Investigation Branch have been able to determine who the three suspects were and have arrested two of them while one is still outstanding.

On July 25, 2018, the first suspect, Natasha Suzanne Brennan, 21 years of age, of Sarnia was arrested and charged with:

  1. Break and enter

  2. Robbery with a weapon

  3. Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose

  4. Aggravated assault

  5. Disguise with intent

  6. Four counts of possession of a controlled substance.

On July 30, 2018, a second suspect was arrested, James Allan White, 33 years of age, of Sarnia and charged with:

  1. Break and enter

  2. Robbery with a weapon

  3. Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose

  4. Aggravated assault

  5. Disguise with intent

  6. Two counts of failing to comply with probation.

Brennan and White remain in custody awaiting a bail hearing.

The finally suspect is Kevin Martin Simpson, 32 years of age, of Corunna. Please find a photo attached below. Simpson is wanted on an outstanding warrant for:

  1. Break and enter

  2. Robbery with a weapon

  3. Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose

  4. Aggravated assault

  5. Disguise with intent.
