Sarnia-Lambton Rebound Still Rocking After 35 Years

Sarnia, ON (July 9, 2019) – Sarnia-Lambton Rebound is celebrating 35 years of helping youth and is thrilled to be acknowledging this important milestone with commemorations sprinkled throughout the next few months.
Founded in 1984 when three Sarnia citizens, Dee Cox, Terry Fiztgerald and Barry Symington, came together to respond to the needs identified by youth in the community. Sarnia-Lambton Rebound has grown immensely and is now a local and provincial leader in life skills facilitation, education and cognitive skill development. Rebound started out in the basement of a church, then moved to a local high school and eventually in 2008 to their current location – The Dow Centre for Youth located at 10 Lorne Crescent, Sarnia.
Sarnia-Lambton Rebound also has offices in Petrolia and Forest and offers programming to youth in those areas.
Having successfully served over 40,000 young people across the County of Lambton, each Rebound Program strives to meet our Mission, ‘to be a caring partner in the successful development of youth.’
