Lambton College Surprises Tuition Winner at Home, Records it Live on Social Media
SARNIA, July 11, 2019 – When Adam Riggi saw a Lambton College van pull into his driveway on Thursday morning, he had no idea it would be to the tune of free tuition. Riggi was greeted at his home by a group of Lambton College representatives, including President & CEO Judith Morris who handed him a giant cheque redeemable for $2,800 in tuition credit. The exciting interaction was filmed live on Lambton College’s Facebook and Instagram accounts, as the team teased that a lucky incoming student was about to get a major surprise. The annual tuition giveaway will cover Riggi’s academic costs for the for 2019/2020 school year. Riggi will be attending Lambton College’s Pre-Service Firefighter Education & Training program for September. The chance to win tuition is the College’s largest giveaway of the year. The draw is open to every student who enrolls in a full-time Lambton College program before the May 1 equal consideration deadline. Incoming students have the chance to enter the draw at the College’s annual spring and fall Open House events. For those that missed out on the chance to win tuition, Lambton College still has many other great prizes available for incoming students including an Apple Watch. Students must confirm their spot in a program by July 30 to be eligible. There’s still time to apply to Lambton College for September 2019. Spots are still available in some of Lambton College’s most industry-renowned programs including Early Childhood Education, Environmental Technician - Water & Wastewater Systems Operations, Massage Therapy, Office Administration, Personal Support Worker, Photography, Massage Therapy, Power Engineering Technology, and Workplace Safety & Prevention programs.
