Break and Enter Thief Caught

Earlier this morning, April 15, 2020, at approximately 6:00 AM, the Sarnia Police Service attended 1240 Murphy Road, known as Pathways Health Centre for Children, regarding a break and enter alarm. Once police arrived on scene it was determined that multiple windows had been broken and that there was extensive damage inside the building.
It appeared that the thief had ransacked offices causing a mess.
At approximately 6:40 AM, an officer observed a male party peddling southbound on Murphy Road carrying a backpack that appeared to have a number of iPads sticking out of the backpack. The officer immediately stopped the individual and when he observed the iPads he noted that some of the iPads had “Property of Pathways Health 1240 Murphy Road” engraved on them.
The suspect was arrested at this time and upon a further search of the suspect the officer located other property along with break and enter instruments and a facemask.
The accused, Bradley Douglas Kelly, 20 years of age, of Sarnia, has been charged with:
Break and Enter
Theft over $5000
Mischief over $5000
Possession of Break and Enter Instruments
Disguise with Intent
Failing to Comply with Probation Order
