Members of the Sarnia Police Service Vice Unit have been conducting an investigation that involved the trafficking of cocaine from a residence in the 100 block of Gordon Street and a business named RMJ Salt Cave located in the 500 block of Christina Street North.
Vice officers requested and were granted a CDSA search warrant for both the Gordon Street address and the Christina Street business.
During the early morning hours of September 18, 2020, officers were conducting surveillance when they observed suspects leaving the Gordon Street address in a car. A traffic stop was conducted and two suspects were taken into custody shortly before 12:30 AM. A search of the vehicle located a significant quantity of cocaine.
Members of the Sarnia Police Service Vice Unit and Criminal Investigation Branch attended and made entry into the Gordon Street address at approximately 12:50 AM. There officers located a second suspect and a search of the residence located various quantities of narcotics, money and other drug paraphernalia.
At approximately 1:50 AM officers conducted a search of RMJ Salt Cave located on Christina Street where further drugs and paraphernalia were located.
In total officers seized the following:
27.84 grams of cocaine (street value $2784.00)
29.73 grams of fentanyl (street value $14865.00)
25.35 grams of crystal meth (street value $2535.00) (Total street value of drugs seized is approximately - $20184.00)
Cash seized $23960.00
The following individuals have been charged:
Ronald Paul Frlais, 62 years of age, of Sarnia, for one count of possession for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine)
Craig Dellevan Moore, 59 years of age, of Sarnia, for two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking (fentanyl and crystal)
Anthony Poirier, 59 years of age, of Sarnia, for one count of possession of a controlled substance (cocaine)
Both Frlais and Moore were held for a bail hearing while Poirier was released from the Sarnia Police Headquarters.
