Drug Seizure


On Saturday, January 23, 2021, at approximately 12:10 AM, a member of the Sarnia Police Service COPPS Unit was conducting surveillance on an individual who was being investigated for trafficking narcotics in the City of Sarnia.

As the officer continued his surveillance the suspect was observed conducting activity that was indicative of the trafficking of drugs.

Upon gathering enough evidence the officer initiated a traffic stop of the vehicle driven by the suspect in the area of Exmouth Street and Indian Road and placed him under arrest.

Upon arrest a search was conducted of the suspect and the vehicle he was driving. The following items were seized as evidence:

  1. $2310.00 in Canadian currency

  2. $125.00 in U.S. currency

  3. Approximately 3.9 grams of fentanyl

  4. Approximately 7.8 grams of methamphetamine

  5. Approximately 2.2 grams of cocaine

The total approximate value of drugs seized is believed to be $2950.00

The suspect in this maters is Daniel Mark Isaac, 34 years of age, of Sarnia.

Isaac faces three counts of possession of a Schedule I Substance for the purpose of trafficking and his first appearance at court will take place on February 17, 2021, at 9:30 AM, at the Sarnia Lambton Court House.
