Police Searching For Theft Suspect

The Sarnia Police Service has recovered over $60,000 worth of stolen property including a truck, motorcycle and trailer as Detectives continue their investigation in this case.

On April 26th, 2020, the Sarnia Police Service located a stolen truck and trailer that was involved in numerous local thefts. On this date, 34 year old Michael Damien Beachey of Lambton Shores was arrested, charged and remanded into custody on two counts of Possession of Stolen Property Over $5000, one count of Possession of Stolen Property Under $5000, and two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance. Further charges are pending as this investigation continues and Beachey remains in custody.

At this time, Sarnia Police Detectives have identified several victims associated to stolen identification cards. Investigators have also linked certain owners to their stolen property, although numerous items are still unaccounted for.
