Sarnia Police Cruiser Involved in Accident

At approximately 4:00 PM, on October 8, 2020, Sarnia Police responded to a two vehicle collision that occurred on Brock Street in the area of Cromwell Street. One of the vehicles involved was a Sarnia Police cruiser.

The officer driving the cruiser (lone occupant) and the two occupants of the other vehicle were taken to hospital and later released with minor injuries.

The area was closed for approximately 6 hours as members of the Sarnia Police Service Traffic Unit conducted their investigation of the scene.

The investigation is ongoing at this time.
