Effective Tuesday, March 17, 2020. if you need to attend Headquarters you may be subject to brief non-intrusive screening related to the COVID-19 health risks. Please understand that this is for the protection and peace of mind of our staff who will be serving you and other members of the public. Please do not attend police facilities if you are not well. All scheduled tours (including the book release scheduled for Sunday, March 22, 2020) are cancelled until further notice.

We are not accepting in-person record check applications. The record check application can be found on-line at Records Check Electronic Application . In the near future record checks will be enhanced to allow for full online service. The Collision Reporting Centre (CRC) will continue to operate. Anyone utilizing this service will be asked to remain in their vehicles when they attend Headquarters and call the CRC with their cell phones. A representative will attend their location in the Sarnia Police Service parking lot. The CRC can be reached at 519-346-4648.

The Sarnia Police Service will continue to respond to all emergency calls.

Effective Tuesday, March 17, 2020, you may be subject to brief non-intrusive screening questions related to Covid-19 for non-emergency calls prior to officers being dispatched.

Unfortunately, this situation is very fluid and there may be further changes to ensure public safety. We will do our utmost to keep you up to date.
