Sarnia Sting General Manager Dylan Seca announced today that the Hockey Club has acquired Forward Daylen Moses from the Soo Greyhounds in exchange for a conditional 12th round pick in the 2025 Ontario Hockey League Priority Selection.
Moses, a 6’1”, 180-pound 18-year-old was a free agent before signing with the Greyhounds during the 2021-2022 season. The Ottawa, Ontario native spent that season with the Ottawa Senators U18 AAA of the HEO 'AAA' Hockey League, where he recorded 11 goals and 8 assists through 26 games played.
On the trade Seca shares, “A competitive forward with size and can skate. He also helps our right side from a depth perspective. We’ll see how he transitions into our program. We welcome Daylen and the Moses family to Sarnia.”
You can catch Daylen and the rest of the Sarnia Sting in action as they host the Windsor Spitfires this Wednesday September 20th at the Pat Stapleton Arena, formally known as the Brock Street Barn.
