Sarnia Sting General Manager Dylan Seca announced this morning that the Hockey Club has moved the “rights” to Luca Del Bel Belluz in exchange for a conditional 15th round pick in the 2027 Ontario Hockey League Priority Selection.
Seca shares, “We believe Luca will stay with Clevland AHL, however should those plans change we believed Saginaw could be a best destination point for him. This deal allows Saginaw the ability to work with Columbus.”
Del Bel Belluz was a 2nd round draft pick (44th overall) by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the 2022 NHL Draft and currently has 2 goals and 3 assists with their AHL affiliate the Cleveland Monsters, tallying 5 points in his last 6 games.
